Having read about the rave reviews I have very high expectations of the food and maybe that's why I felt a little underwhelmed when I had it. First of all the service wasn't as bad as some of the reviews mentioned. The uncle served us promptly and normal like any restaurant staff. The seafood claypot was indeed good with a generous portion of seafood. Also strong wok hei. It was nice but not something that wowed us. The Cai xin with meat was also highly recommended, I find it as good as the seafood claypot. The price is definitely very high, for this price range I think there are many better alternatives.
Very good food, shop easy to locate at hilltop main street. Maybe a little difficult to look for a parking spot but manageable if you go earlier. Kitchen last order around 745pm which is quite early for many, so be there earlier to avoid disappointment. Price is on the higher end but worth the price. Overall good. Been there for years, you know it’s good.
Very good beautfort mee with big fresh prawn. Highly recommended
Friendly uncle who helped me with order. The vege with pork was lit! It has lotsa wok hei, great with rice. The other dishes- noodles with siu yuk was also filled with wok hei. Fish slices single portion was more mild in taste after I take the prior dishes. The fish has some solid texture
Came back here again, was lucky that they opened. But one of the best chinese food I've had in my life. I think they put drugs in it as it's good and addictive. Must try, seafood clay pot, vegetable stir fry with pork, and fried rice. It deserves a michelin star.
Nice Food. Unmatchable taste Quite pricey n will keep on increasing. Tried the seafood claypot, bitter gourd omelette, sawi with pork meat. Now the uncle’s son also managing the shop
